Aim: To celebrate Pride Month by equipping professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to foster affirming and inclusive work environments for the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Overview: This interactive workshop is designed to empower professionals to become active allies for the LGBTQIA+ community within their workplaces. Recognizing that true inclusion goes beyond policy to deeply embedded cultural shifts, this session will provide a foundational understanding of LGBTQIA+ identities, train a spotlight on the unique stressors faced especially by trans individuals, and the profound impact of language. Participants will explore the concept of queer affirmation and learn actionable strategies to create spaces where trans and queer employees feel valued, respected, and supported.
